Create the perfect base for the smoothest result of your French Polish finish for your guitar. Made from top quality shellac with methylated spirit (alcohol). Ideal as base coat for your shellac finish, but also suitable as a base for a wax finish of your instrument.

Details

Shake well before use.
Apply in a warm, dry atmosphere.
The wood should be clean and smooth and stained, if necessary, before application.
Apply liberally with a soft brush or pad and allow to dry.
The drying time will be between 1,5 to 2 hours, depending upon temperature and humidity.
Rub down lightly with fine glass paper before applying a second coat.

When used as a finish, rub with 000 to 0000 steel wool and wax polish, finishing with a soft cloth.
Clean brushes with Methylated Spirits.
