Fret polish template 25” - G17

Save a lot of time with this fret polishing template. This template is precision laser cut from 0,5mm Stainless steel and extremely durable. Use the template to product a fretboard during the polishing of the frets. This template is suitable for guitars with a 25” / 635mm scale up to 24 frets. The fret slots have a height of 3mm and a with of 55mm at the 1st fret to 67mm at the 24th fret.

Details

This 0,5mm Stainless steel template is durable and protects your fretboard from sanding and polishing. Keep in mind that the template has a fixed scale. We advice to make the fretslots in your fretboard using the fret saw jig to be sure of accurate placement of the fret slots.

The template has 12 notches where you can place 3 thick rubber bands (not included). This will keep the template in place when you are polishing the frets. It will also bend the template a little over the radius of the fretboard. When using a smaller radius, it could be that the template has to be bent a little to fit the radius of the fretboard.
