Rod made of a plastic material to mark the fret positions on the side of your fretboard. Easy to cut. 50mm is more than sufficient for a guitar with 24 frets.
Measure the positions and mark with a pointer.
Carefully drill a 2mm diameter hole to a depth of 1.5-2mm.
I like to do this with a hand drill as it goes quick enough and I can keep control.
Glue is not really necessary, but you can put a tiny bit of UHU Binding glue on the bottom of the rod.
Push the rod in place and carefully cut the excess with a sharp knife.
Sand the remaining access when all the side dots have been placed.
