Soundhole & Rosette router template

With this template, routing the perfect circle for the rosette or soundhole of your guitar becomes much easier.

This template can be used for every diameter from 24 to 150mm and every 2mm steps in between.

Supplied completely with a 5mm pin to position in the center point of your rosette or soundhole. The template comes with 2 pre-drilled, countersunk holes with 7cm distance to mount the template to your router base.
Ideal for use with our Router base, Router bit set and your own Dremel or comparable precision router.

Details

Use:
Draw the center point of your soundhole or rosette and drill a 5mm diameter hole.
Mount the template to your router base and place your detail router bit and set the height.
Determine the wanted diameter (indicated radius x2). Distance is from axis to axis. Please keep the diameter of your bit in mind.
Place the 5mm pin in the hole on the template with this number.
Hold your router above the surface let the pin slide into the hole till the router bit is still slightly above the surface.
Turn on the router and let it slide straight down till the template is flat on the surface.
Move with light pressure in the form of a circle till you are fully round.
