Locking nut in a Floyd style for use with Tremelo bridges. With the locking mechanism, you can secure the strings in the nut to keep them in tune when the Tremelo returns to the start position.
This nut is 42mm width and 15mm deep and has pre-shaped slots in a 12”radius with the E-strings at a height of 0.6mm. The slots at the backside are placed lower to guide the strings towards the tuner pins and keep a nice tension at the nut.
Supplied with 2 mountings screws and 1 Aleen key.
Clear your nut position from any glue remains. Place the locking nut in position, tightly against your fretboard. Mark the screw holes with an eyeleteer en remove the nut. Carefully pre-drill the screw holes with a 2mm drill to apr. 9mm deep. The supplied screws have a 1cm depth after placement. Remove the locking mechanisms and reposition the nut in place. Secure with the screws.
Place your strings in the slots and tune them. Put the locks in place again and secure them with the supplied Allen key.
