Regular maintenance of the frets ensures smoother play and less chance of accumulation of dirt and hand fat. Guitar frets are made of material that does not rust, however, the dirt can accumulate as a result of playing so that the guitar or bass guitar can feel “rough”. It is advisable to polish the frets with this set with every string replacement. Since bass strings last longer, it is wise to also polish the frets in between.
With this compact set you have everything at hand to keep your frets in optimum condition. And, a little polish goes a long way, so will this set!
Way of working
Take the polishing cloth and apply a little bit of polishing paste on it. Note: with a very small droplet you will get far. Rub the paste in the polishing cloth between your thumb and forefinger. Place the fretboard protector over the fret and rub the cloth back and forth over the fret. Repeat until the desired result is achieved.
