Fret level beam 40cm
Super handy tool for leveling guitar frets and fretboards and everything else you want to sand evenly, flat or perpendicular. Place several grit sandpaper with double-sided tape or the Kovax self adhesive on the different sides so you can work through quickly, or keep 1 side free to serve as a guide for your router!
Made of 2 mm thick brushed aluminum which is nice to hold and comfortable and manageable in terms of weight. Available in 2.5 x 5 cm in lengths of 20x, 30, 40 and 60cm.
With these sanding beams you have 4 straight angled surfaces available to you. The 2mm thick aluminum provides a stiffness of steel, but does not rust and is easier to handle than steel. Supplied as standard with cover caps and brushed, so you can keep tight corners without being sharp.
Cut a strip of double-sided tape in the required size and stick it onto the fret level beam. Make sure there are no wrinkles or overlaps. Then cut a piece of sandpaper in the same size and stick it on the double-sided tape. Or better; use the Kovax self-adhesive. Just press and you can get started!
Is your sandpaper to be replaced? Pull off the old piece and remove any tape residue with thinner, acetone or sticker remover.
