Artec Sound is based in South Korea and a very, very big producer of pickups. They produce a lot of oem pickups for brands in Europe, USA and Asia. While their oem pickups are quite famous under their oem brand names, the Artec's own are still a little bit of an underdog. That is great for us.
The years of experience that Artec has can genuinely be found in their pickups. With a high quality, excellent sound and versatile options from vintage to modern, they offer a lot for an interesting price. I've used their P- and J-Bass pickups in some of my projects and am amazed with the power that this pickup brings as well as the soundscape that I have with switching from one to the other, mixing them or playing with the tone pot. Review wise, Artec is doing great online and after my experience, I would recommend everyone to give them a try.
