Titebond Melamine glue 473ml

With this melamine glue from Titebond it is possible to join wood and other porous materials together with metals and synthetic materials such as vinyl, HPL and melamine. This gives a whole new range of possibilities for your guitar building.

The glue is water based and dries transparent/clear. The consistency is thicker which reduces spills and drips, making it easy to use. The open time is 5 minutes and assembly time is between 10 and 15 minutes. Clamp for at least 30 minutes and allow to fully cure for 24 hours.

This glue is for interior use only and is sensitive for moisture and heat. Spills can be cleaned up with a damp cloth when wet. Once dried it allows easy scraping and sanding.

- Not suitable for exterior use or in high moisture environments
- Not suitable for load bearing construction
- Apply at a minumum temperature of 4°C
- The low pH value van cause erosion on metal surfaces and should be tested first.

- Working temperature: minimum 4°C
- Open time: 5 minutes

- Use sufficient amount of glue, 473ml is suitable for apr. 2,8m²
- Require pressure: Soft wood 6,9-10 Bar, medium wood 8,6-12 Bar, hard wood 12-17 Bar
- Clamp for mimum 30 minutes and let cure for 24 hours
- Application method: Cannister as supplied in or with a roller or brush
- Cleanup: With water. Spills can be cleaned with a damp cloth, or scraped and sanded when dried.
