This Rolling pin sanding drum is the perfect tool for sanding sides, leveling binding of adding a bevel to your instrument, other applications are many. The sanding part of the rolling pin sanding drum has a length of 3” (7,62cm) and a diameter of 2” (5,08cm). Big enough to sand a nice surface and small enough to maneuver into tight places. The solid aluminum handle and ball beading mechanism ensures you full control.
The tool will fit almost any drill, cordless drill or drill press (use as a vertical sanding drum without the handle).
Contains: Rolling pin sanding drum, 1x 120 grit sandpaper, assembly tool, manual with QR link to instruction movie.
This tool uses sandpaper in stead of sanding sleeves which makes your choice of sandpaper yours. We advise our Kovax sanding strips for the fastest and most homogeneous result, but other sandpaper can also be used. Use sandpaper with a thickness of 0,6 to 0,8mm.
The pin attachment has a diameter of 9.6mm and will fit almost any drill head. The handle is made from a solid piece of aluminum and has a size of 32 x 105mm and will fit snug into your hand. The inner parts use beadings and will ensure smooth working.
Adjustments: When the Rolling pin has a slight wobble, tighten the nut in the handle a bit. The Rolling Pin does not need to be 100% free running as it will will be power driven on ball barings, but don't tighten it too much which will increase resistance.
