Flatwork press jig Precision Bass 29,5mm string spacing

This jig is ideal for pressing the magnets into your Precision Bass pickup flatwork. The set is suitable for use in a press or your column drill and consists of the following parts:

Buffer
This fits magnets with a 5mm diameter and is used to hold the outer magnets and position them straight in the bottom flatwork under the press witthout your fingers getting in the way..

Spacer 10mm
This 4-piece holder is placed over the outer magnets and used to position the inner magnets. As it can be taken apart like a puzzle, you can easily remove it once the top flatwork is pressed on. The spacer is 10mm thick.

Spacer 3mm
This 2-piece spacer is helpfull to create sufficient height between the bottom and top flatwork and can be used in combination with the 10mm spacer. The spacer is 3mm thick. If you need more or less height, you can sand this one down or use it as a template for your custom spacer.

Top press
To press the top flatwork you place this over the with the holes alligned to your magnets. Thanks to the 5mm thickness of the Top press, it allows sufficient space for your magnets and a smooth and straight positioning of your top flatwork. Also suitable for creating staggered pickups.
