With this edge guide you expand the possibilities of your Precision router base with a bearing guide. Perfect for routing a binding or purfling channel.
The guide can be adjusted by turning the wheel which increases or decreases the distance of the routerbit to the edge of your workpiece. The sturdy brass construction in combination with the precision router base will ensure a steady platform.
Depending on the wood choice and the desired depth, it is advised to make a test piece. This will provide an estimate in how much material can be routed in 1 run.
Precision router base not included.
Mount the edge guide with the included hex bolts. The holes correspond directly with the holes in the precision router base. Loosen the middle hex bolt to adjust the edge guide. When the desired distance is met, fasten the middle hex bold so the edge guide can not be adjusted anymore.
