Have you made a design for your fretboard or headstock inlay for your guitar that is just too sick, slick, sexy or cool and it needs to be produced in the exact detail? We can do this for you on our Laser. It doesn't get more accurate than that. We can produce inlays from celluloid and plexiglass in a wide choice of colors.
We do need your file with the design in a vector (or raster) setting in the exact scale. You can do this yourself with the step-by-step provided, or we can do this for you with some additional costs. in the latter, please check the box for professionalize file.

Please keep in mind that custom work takes longer, takle 5 working days to shipment in account. Custom items cannot be returned unless there is a production error.
Delivery specifications:
The file will need to be a so called Vector or Raster file. The fonts need to be converted to outlines. The files that can be uploaded are Adobe .ai files or .pdf files.
A Vector file is a file that does not consist of images (photo) but of lines, these can be interpreted by a CNC, printer of Laser machine.
Please make sure that the elements of the design have a minimal width of 2mm. So for instance when you take the letter "L" the horizontal and vertical lines should have a minimal body of 2mm, else the material can melt towards each other and it will be to fragile to stay in 1 piece. The end of a line can be sharp (pointy). This is the case for the entire design.
How to make a file:
1. Create a file with Adobe Illustrator or when you don’t have Illustrator you can use Inkscape as a free alternative. Inkscape can be downloaded here: https://inkscape.org
2. Load your logo or file and place text in your desired font.
3. Convert the fonts to outlines. Be aware, after converting to outlines you can not change the text anymore. Safe the file as a second file containing the outlines and keep the source file if you want to make changes in the future.
- Illustrator: CTRL+A (select all) --> Type --> Create Outlines
- Inkscape: CTRL+A (select all) --> Path --> Object to Path
4. Safe the file as a .ai or .pdf file.

If it is not possible to make a Vector / Raster file, or would you prefer us to do it for you? No problem. We can do this for a surcharge. You will also receive the professional file by email that you can use the next time or for other printwork. Check the “convert my file…” box with your order if you want this option.
