Battery compartment template

This template will help you route a neat pocket for a battery compartment.
The template is suitable for 2 sizes, a single size of 30,5 x 57mm or a double size of 49 x 57mm.

Depending on the type of battery box you use, it could be necessary to rasp a notch out for the cover mechanism.

It is made of durable plexiglass of 5mm thickness with centerlines and take little storage space. Collect 'm all!

Details

Use a shallow router bit with a ball bearing guide on the upper part. Measure your pickup position by using the center line, or angle line and set it securely in place with good quality double sided sticky tape. Don't overdo the tape as you still need to be able to get it loose.
