The Contour Gauge is a tool for very precise defining a contour and drawing this contour on you work for further editing. For larger objects, it is possible to connect two of these meters together.
The contour gauge is made of sturdy plastic with a metal core as a bearing where the slides will slide on. Other contour gauges in the market use a plastic core which causes the slides to slide dificultly. This one can be operated with 1 hand.
The numerous slides on a width of 25,4cm can be adjusted in a very precise way with a maximum depth of 3,1cm. Ideal for those difficult to measure curves and pockets of your guitar.
With the help of the 4 built in magnets, you can easily store the contour guage on a metal object, like a tool cart.
